How to sex up a trailer!

Now, we all know Harry Potter is a family movie right, with the wizardry and the family values and the murder, the sex...wait, wait, wait...it's not a family movie? Ok, I guess it borderlines on the tween crowd, and does its best to bush the line as far as it can. Apparently producers wanted to ensure they get the more grown up crowd to take interest in the new Harry Potter, so they threw this trailer together.

I feel so dirty, I mean, it has cute girls, and guys wanting to get lucky, and kissing, and a broom launch that is so obviously a metaphor for something else, I mean, the entire trailer is all about sex. I feel like the title should be "Harry Potter 6: Harry gets Lucky." It just seems like a desperate move to me, I mean, its obvious kids will be there in gaggles, but, this trailer shows either your worried they will have forgotten about Harry and are too worried about Bella and her fangy boyfriend, or your just desperate for more money. Either way, this whole trailer just feels like one of those $20 woman that sit on the corner of Fourth Street and ... ... and, never mind. Anyway, it just feels dirty. Check it out, and let me know what you think.

Hmm....gonna pull out my "Brian disagrees" card. Sex is an over hyped topic (hell I'm paid to talk about it!) but there is more to it than that.

Everything I see here, and everything I know from the books point to these characters acting just like school kids their ago do. Hormonal and "romantic". Seems natural.

And I'd agree with you if this was the only trailer but it's a TV spot aimed at a certain demo. I know the scary/loud/kick ass one was aimed at people like us (it worked). It's business ya know.
This one should do better than Twilight, at least overall. Let's start making wages. :)

I guess I am just surprised they took a completely different approach to the movie. If you hadn't seen the other trailers, this one certainetly paints a different picture. I was waiting for the porn music at one point!

I needed a cold shower afterwards, which is surprising for a Potter movie...especially since Emma Watson wasn't really hot in the trailer.
